**What is an Oman dial?
The Oman (Khanjar) dials are some specially made timepieces delivered to the UAE and for Oman, 

with an Oman Khanjar logo (a “khanjar” dagger laid over crossed swords. Usually in red, black or gold) printed at above 6 o’clock on the dial.
Timpieces fitted with “Khanjar” dials were made on special request from His Majesty Qaboos bin Said Al Said, 
the Sultan of Oman, and presented as gifts to his closest dignitaries and officials. Research and scholarship suggests that the Sultan commissioned most of his watches between the late 50’s and 70’s. 
It was an honor, and sign of respect, to be presented with a watch depicting the Omani state symbol.
